Thief- Thieves are the most hated class around. Thieves can backstab (weak), dodge, riposte (lvl 13) and peek like the Assassin, but thieves can also steal items and $$ from other players of both are pledged or chaotic. A thief can even pick doors like the Rogue. Only downside to thieves besides everyone trying to kill you is that they get little hp per level (6 hp per lvl like the rogue) and they hit for shit. A Thief must level at 8 to reach higher levels. It takes a lot of time to get a thief past lvl 10, but once you get that high, it's well worth it. Someone who knows their mobs can get a hefty pile of treasures in one day.

        Stats for Thieves - Thieves should have super max dex. Dex is what helps the thief steal. Doesn't mater what lvl you are, you still need dex to give you a better chance at stealing. The dex should also help you flee, hide and backstab. the other stats should be strength and either con or piety. I personally think that con is much more important then piety. Piety isn't that important considering the fact  that a lvl 10 thief only has 63 hp / 21 mp. The extra con will give you like 10 more hp and that can save your ass 1 day. Having a little more hp is very important. Someday, while your trying to steal from something, you lag and the mob/perm will do something to you. if you have 70+ hp, you'll be save to know that NOTHING can kill you in 1 hit or cast unless you get your ass backstabbed.
