A lot of newbies will start out playing mud, and none of them will know
exactly where to level. Many of the more experienced players don't enjoy
dragging newbies around. Well, this part of the web page is dedicated in
helping out out the newbies. I will tell everyone where to find the training
place for all the classes between the lvls of 1 and 7, later on when I
jog my memory, I will add in the location of the higher lvl areas.
Assassins - The assassin lvl area between lvl 1-8 is located on gold street, there is a hidden door exit, after that there is a floor exit. The directions to the hidden exit from the main hp clinic is e s w w w n go door go floor. Once inside you will can either go west or east. Your training location is located around there. After getting to lvl 8, you must pledge to shadow masters which is located in drakken. The directions to the pledging area from the seawolf dock is go wharf go n go black go back go trap go office. You need an elephant tusk for lvling to 9 and 10. After that, I think you need a leather egg, which you can get from a mob in the drakken dumps, for lvling to 11 and 12. I forgot what to do after that, but I think you need to get some kind of a weapon for lvling to 13. After level 13, since the village of outcast was destroyed, you stay in the shadow masters area to train. |
Bards - The bard lvl area is located in the entertainment alley. There isn't much to do, you just go in and train. The directions to the area from the main hp clinic is e n n n e e e e n n e e e and go door. I'm not quite sure where to lvl after that, but I think its the bard college in sigil. After that, I think there's a bard college in Drakken. |
Berserkers - The berserker is annoying to lvl at the beginning. You must go to the pits in hp and kill certain mobs for their scalps. Well, the directions from the hp main clinic is e s e e e e e e e e s go pit s. After you get a scalp, you need to trade it to Vile, located at the ramp exit after you enter the pit. Tribal scalp is for lvling to 2 3 and 4, then Half-Giant scalp to lvl 5 and 6, and finally the Gladiator scalp for 7. After that, you must find the Barbarian village, which is north off the north gates of hp. Well... just keep going north until you find a trail exit. Once inside wander around until you find some door exits, there are lvl restrictions on the exits, so try them out until you can go into 1. The Barbarian village is the last training area. You can lvl the berserker there for the rest of the time. |
Clerics - Well... there are a lot of different clerics aren't there. Well all clerics can lvl to 7 in the hp temple. The directions to the temple from the hp main clinic is e n n n e e e e e go temple. Once inside you need to purchase keys to lvl. After lvl 7, clerics need to pledge to get higher. You can pledge to Enoch in sigil, and train there. Clerics of Aramon need to go to breakwater, and train there. Gradius need to pledge at Ironguard, where they lvl also. I'm not sure about Ceris and Ares isn't playable yet. |
Death Knights - Big surprise, Death Knights need to lvl at the dk temple in hp. The directions to that area from the hp main clinic is e s s s s s s w n n go d. You need to kill lvling perms, starting at lvl 1. Keep in mind that around lvl 3, you should have evil aura, or else you can't go into the lvling perm room. After lvl 7, you need to run to Caladon and train. You also pledge in Caladon. |
Druids - These guys are very annoying to train. You only get 1 free lvl which is located in the Dense woods. Directions to the woods from the hp main clinic is e s s s s s s go g e e s go tree e e s. After that, you need to get lvling items. I remember the cluster was dropped by Milton the Moneychanger. And the boogun collars is located in trade town. You can find the elf whip and the mud ball in Durgas falls. Err... dwarven key from a Bremeister. Eagle feather... from an Eagle.. located near the old Fairy Dragon place. I don't remember what else you need. Well, anyways after you get your lvl item, you need to run into the Druid woods. There are like 3 different spirits and you go to them. They are located deep in the Druid woods. Look around. |
Fighters - They first lvl in the middle of the University. Directions from the hp main clinic is e n n n n go g e go steps. You need to purchase keys til lvl 7. Then you go the that fort, located north from the hp north gate. Keep going north, til you see the second trail exit. You lvl there for the rest of the time. But remember that you need to pledge from lvl 9 - 13. |
Liches - Liches are pretty easy to lvl up to probably 10, only downside is that the lvling areas can only be accessed at night and there are lots of agro mobs that can be baited around it. From lvl 1 to 7, the training area is located in the wizards eye. The directions from the hp main clinic is e s w w w w w go g s go o e op oak go oak go back go loose go steps op glass go glass. If you go door when you're suppose to go glass, you'll find yourself in the revenant room. After lvl 7, you need to get lvling items. Poison ivy in the Druid woods, Rat heart in the sewers, stone of regeneration in drakken dropped by that perm in the pleasure garden. After you get the items, you go to the graveyard and go north 12x then go south west 3x then door. Once inside go west 4x, then crack, then down 3x then north then door. After that, I don't really remember. |
Mages - Mages are stupid, but the directions to the lvling area from the hp main clinic is e s w w w w w go g s go a go door. Thats for lvl 1 to 8. Then when you get to lvl 9 to 11. It is located in the west tower (go west instead of go door). Theres a large door there. You trade your lvling books to 1 of the old mages (forgot which one) Then when you are lvl 11, there's a bronze door (hidden) somewhere up the east tower. After that you need to get inside the wizards eye. I forgot where it comes. Oh yeah, there's a teleport trigger when you try to get out of the wizards eye. |
Monks - Monk's training area is located near Master Wang. The directions from the hp main clinic to there is e s s s s w w w w w n n. From there you purchase keys from Mioshi. After lvl 7, you go to the monk trail, located off the south gate of sigil to train. Instead of purchasing keys, you will need to kill perms. |
Paladins - They lvl, at the Order of Crusaders. Directions from hp main clinic is e s e e e e n e. There you buy kills. When you get to lvl 7, go to Sigil to pledge, after that you buy keys in the Crusaders Order thing located in Sigil to. |
Rangers - From lvl 1 to 8, a ranger lvls in the dense woods. Directions from the hp main clinic is e s s s s go g e e s go tree go bush. After lvl 8, you need to get lvling items. To get to lvl 9 and 10, you need to get spiderclaws. You can get them off of Doom spiders, which can be found north of the Northern part of Gnomebarrow, in the Medhil Woods? After that, you need an Ettic skull and a gullet from a worm. |
Rogues - They lvl in the Crystal Bay Inn, thats e n n n n n n n e e e e e e s s go curtain e go d. The lvling is free from lvl 1-4 after that, you need to go south and start buying keys. After lvl 7, you need to go to the seagull and mug located in Break Water to kill lvling perms and train there. When you get to lvl 10 from there to lvl 13, you buy lvling keys.. which are very expensive. After that.. I'm not sure. |
Thieves - Thieves are rather easy to train, but the hard part is getting the xp. Anyways, the directions to the training location from the hp main clinic is, e n n n w w w w n n e pick door op door go door go trap. The area is similar to the assassin training area. You go either east or west, depending on your level. After you get to lvl 8, I believe you go to drakken, pledge to shadow masters, and go pick the doors in the shadow masters area. Now that the village of outcasts was destroyed. I think thieves lvl 13 + still lvl in drakken. |
Vampires - Vampires training in hp til lvl 8. From 1 to 7 the directions to the training area from the hp main clinic is, e s w w w w w w w n n e op door go door op slide go slide go a e e e e n n. I never trained a vampire past lvl 8 and I never asked so I dunno where to go. I will ask Karcul the next time I see him and I'll update this part later. |
Werewolves - Werewolves are very easy to train. From lvl 1 - 7 all you do is go in and train. And after lvl 12, the same time. The 4 perms that the werewolves have to kill are realitively easy. The directions to the first training location from the hp main clinic is e s s s s s go g e e s go tree e e e e n go den e e e. There are different directions to go, but just look around until you find your training area. After lvl 7, you need to go to the werewolves woods to train. I dont really want to post all the directions but basically you go s and then e x7 and your inside. |
